Baby Olive Hope Polinder

Dear friends,

I don't send give out my blog address to many people, so I know that most of you already know Eric and my lastest prayer request. For those of you who don't keep reading. Please remember them in your daily prayers as well.

I have two friends that have come across some difficult times. Their names are Rusty and Lynette Polinder. For the past few years this married couple has dedicated their lives to missioning to a particular Thai tribe in the region of Chiang Rai, Thailand. As apart of their growth and journey in assisting this tribe, they were blessed to find out Lynette was pregnant with their first child just 7 months ago.

While away here in the U.S. just 2 weeks ago, Rusty came to find out that Lynette went into labor and gave birth to a premature baby girl, Olive Hope. Olive was only 2.5 pounds when born. The situation immediately was bleak for the health of their newborn daughter. They have since been having to take care of Olive with conditions that have been drastically difficult even for the strongest of people. With brain issues and sickness such as pneumonia, they've had a very difficult time continuing through the entire situation.

This email is meant to help out in a simple way for those of us who are far away, yet wanting to support them in a tangible way. One of the detriments that has come upon Rusty and Lynette is their financial situation. They have found out there are many limitations to the insurance policy that they hold. I am estimating, on the low end, that they will have incurred more than $10,000 in which they will owe for medical bills after all procedures are complete. And knowing that their income is minimal, myself and few close friends are trying to stir up as much of resources possible to send over to them in Chiang Rai.

After reading their posts, if you so happen to feel moved in assisting their situation, please feel free to write any amount of a donation in a check format to Olive's fund (information below). Trust me, they would greatly appreciate it.
