Kaylee's season is finally starting to get good. The season had a slow start with all the rain, so most practices were canceled as well as the games. The girls are starting to get the hang of the game and they are becoming more fun to watch.
Cameron is still antsy at the games and finds different ways to keep herself busy. Today she asked Eric if Kaylee's team was called the "witches". This is a photo that shows how much Cameron loves to watch Kaylee play baseball for the Munster Wizards.
For as long as we can remember Cameron has always loved to wear dresses. She hates to feel confined in any clothing, and is constantly asking to wear sandals in the middle of winter because she hates the way they feel on her feet. Now that it is warm outside, she prefers to be barefoot. Going to these games she usually wears a dress and then precedes to sit in the gravel and play in it. She arrives at the games looking like a princess and leaves the games looking like a rag doll. Eric and I don't even know why we still allow her to wear dresses to these games. Such is a life of a kid.
Last weekend Kaylee has three games before we left on vacation. She played well in all the games and it seems that she is finally starting to understand the concepts and strategies for softball. On the Saturday game she played first base and made some really great plays as well as a double and single hit. She won the game ball for her efforts. She also had her great grandparents and both nanas come to visit her for these games. We were so proud of her efforts and everything she has learned this season. Here she is in action.
