Blackhawks, Nachos, and the Zamboni

We have started our spring break with some late March snow. It didn't really matter though because we planned to go the see the Blackhawks play today. Here's the girls excited to go and giving us the thumb's up. On the drive to the United Center we pass Cellular Field. Since Kaylee is a born Cubs fan it is her tradition to boo the stadium with a thumb's down. This time she called her Papa Evers to have him witness.

On the way to the game Kaylee asked if we had ever been to the United Center before. We told her that it's the same place that the Bulls play. Cameron chimes in, "That's why there are Bulls and Blackhawks flags hanging from the ceiling. I should be used to Cameron's eye for detail, but it still amazes me.

Kaylee enjoys keeping the tickets to all the games she has seen and even has a special jar for them.

Cameron did well watching the game this time. Unfortunately the Blackhawks lost 0-4, so the game was a disappointment to others we've seen. When Cameron was bored with hockey, she pointed out things around the stadium. She even spotted Benny the bull hanging from the rafters. Overall, her main focus was the food, but who can blame her, right?
