"Never Put an Eyeball in Your Mouth"

and "Don't Lick your Sister" and "Never Put Ants in your Pants, Because they tickle" are the rules the girls made on our trip home from Michigan. We had such a fun weekend, and the girls were running on adrenaline and little sleep were getting silly on the ride home. It was worth the trip because we had a great weekend.

First we visited my grandma in Holland. The girls really were friendly and Grandma walked us around the facility introducing us to her friends. It was great to see her.
Then we met Lance in Grand Rapids. The girls immediately made themselves at home. Cameron declared that one of the bedrooms was her room. She moved in and decided where all her things should be. She even used the closet as her personal dressing room and wouldn't change anywhere else. The girls enjoy Lance house because it has a lot of unique rooms and closets to explore and played a lot of hide and go seek. Kaylee also enjoyed playing with Lance's Wii system.

After a Mexican dinner with Lance and Shawn we went to sleep. The girls were so excited to be in Michigan they woke up at 6:15 and immediately went to check on their uncle Lance. Seeing that he was not awake, they tried to be quiet but that only lasted about 10 mins. before they woke him up for the day as well.

After an awesome brunch at Brandywine (a hangout from our college), we took the kids to meet up with Shawn for the photo shoot. Kaylee was such a good sport and let them put her in pink clothes and even added a feather to her hair.

The clothes that Shawn is creating are more Cameron's style. After putting on this outfit, she twirled around for me in it. She wouldn't do the same for the photographer, however, she was still able to get some fabulous pictures of her. I can't wait until we get some.

Just a shout out to my 5 friends that actually read my blog (Cort, Sue, Jori, and Rachel) the clothes will be for sale soon, and you are going to love them for your girls. You actually get to design the outfit youself, and yet the price on the clothes are still reasonable. I will get some more information when I have it.

Overall, it was a great weekend. So good to see family and the kids had so much fun. They are already asking when we are going back. We weren't even to the expressway and Kaylee said that she misses her uncle Lance already. They have a unique bond between them, so hopefully we'll be able to get back there soon. I think the picture of the drive home is proof of a great time.
