Park Community Church

As mentioned earlier, we attended Joe's church to watch him being baptised. We really enjoyed the church and the sermon was really great and we understand why Joe enjoys his church. Here are Joe and Eric waiting in the green room before the service. After Joe gave a testimony about why he is choosing to be baptised, he enter the tub to be dunked. Joe was really calm and relaxed as he spoke up there, and I can't help but wonder if we'll see him up there again in the future.
My kids have never witnessed a baptism like Joe's before and I think it was a great experience. Cameron told me she wanted to go back there for church. We'll have to come and visit sometime this summer. After the service we saw a bunch of friends that we haven't see in awhile and it was so nice to catch up with everyone. Joe has always had a way of getting people together. After church we went to brunch with Joe's family and some other friends. We went to a original Swedish restaurant that had amazing food. Joe has a very loving and welcoming family. Kaylee really enjoyed being with his parents. During brunch Joe's dad , Dr. John Kim, was teaching Kaylee some Chinese lettering. He was telling us the meaning behind the letters and how many of the letters lends itself to Christian thinking. He was teaching Kaylee numbers and how to write her name in Chinese. Kaylee was enthralled by it all. When we were leaving, John gave Kaylee his contact card. He told her to email or call him with any questions she has about anything. As soon as Kaylee got home she put the card in her wallet with intentions of calling him later this week. It's too bad they didn't meet earlier, since Joe's parents are moving to Amsterdam in two months to teach seminary. I think it was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
