Every day I try to ask my kids what the best part about their day was and what the worse part of their day was. That way I can try to gauge what it is important to my kids and what to pray for. Yesterday when I asked Kaylee she said that the worst part of her day was that it wasn't grandparents day. Finally, grandparents day came. Kaylee had drawn these pictures of her Nana and Papa E & Nana and Papa Z. Don't they look accurate? Notice that Nana E has lipstick and Nana Z's teeth are extra white. Also, Kaylee told me that Papa E wears golf with stripes that are across and Papa Z wears sweaters with up and down stripes. Kids notice the littlest details.

Here are the grandparents watching Kaylee in the program. She was given a speaking part which she was really excited about. She pretend that was part of a family that traveled around the world. She used a lot of expression and even got a couple of laughs. She told me that she can't wait for the encore performance on Monday night.
Kaylee and Cam with Miss Laurie, Kaylee's music teacher.
Kaylee picked out a new outfit for Grandparents Day. She looked fabulous!
Cam really does love her sister!
As class the first gradders drew the animals on Noah's ark. Kaylee drew the elk on the left and was proud of the results.
Kaylee showed off some of the projects she had around the room. She drew the bug in my class. Hers is the one with the brown wings.
Overall, Grandparents day was a big success!
