The Friendly Confines

Every year we go to at least one Cubs game. I was surprised that this was our first one of the season. Regardless, it was a good one to go to. Not only did the Cubs win (3-1), the air and water show was going on at the same time. Those pilots were doing amazing stuff in with their planes.

I definitely thought that Cameron's favorite part of the game would've been nachos, but she surprised me by saying that her favorite parts were when the Cubs scored, singing "Take Me out to the Ballgame" & "Go, Cubs, Go", and the airplanes. Kaylee's favorite part was the Cubs. She really loves watching the game and even remembered the score after leaving the park.

Cameron's new look for the camera. She didn't have any cubs gear to wear so Kaylee loaned her a t-shirt that she received from the Hoffman family for her birthday. Kaylee made sure Cameron was taking good care of it.One of the tricks from the air show. Those planes were so close together!

We couldn't have asked for a better day. 85 and sunny with a slight breeze. Great day to be together as a family. Can't wait until we do that again!
