Cameron's Soccer Debute

Cameron had her first soccer practice this week. She has been anxiously awaiting this day ever since Kaylee taught her a few soccer moves in the backyard. Although we already know that Kaylee has a lot of natural athletic ability, I think that Cameron could do well at sports too if she really wanted to succeed.
Her first practice was proof of this. She fell about three times, however, she immediately got up and kept going. There was no crying or whining from Cameron, only determination to get it right. I think it was to impress Kaylee who was standing on the sidelines cheering her on. Every once and awhile Cameron would run off the field to give her big sister a hug.

It's obvious that Cameron idolizes her big sister, however, she does bring her own flair to the game. During their first scrimmage Cameron would do a dance after each goal scored. She twirls and then jumps while cheering "Yes! Yes! Yes!" It was so cute and I will have to keep my video camera ready for the games.

It's going to be a great season!
