First Day of Preschool

Cameron has been waiting impatiently to start school. Personally, I think she is ready for Kindergarten, but she needs to wait. She is really suited for school and it gives her the structure she craves. She enjoys worksheets and learning about things Kaylee knows like letters and numbers and has even started reading basic words. Kaylee loves to teach her things and they "play school" in our basement on occasion.

She would fail coloring though. She hates it, and is very vocal about how much she hates it.

One reason I love working at the kids school is that I am able to attend special days in their rooms. The first day of preschool parents are invited to help ease the transition. Cameron who is very independent didn't need me there, but it was still fun to watch her in her classroom. They sang songs and read a story. After that they made a craft and had a snack. I love that she is happy at school! She is going to have a great year.
