We were very lucky to have a really warm Halloween this year. It was a nice night to be outside. As soon as Kaylee got home from school she changed to get ready for trick-or-treating. Here she is with the pumpkins she carved last weekend with her Nana Z.

Kaylee was a Highland Christian Huskies Cheerleader. Yes, this was my outfit when I was in
Jr. high at Highland Christian. I found it cleaning out the storage room this summer and Kaylee wanted to wear it this year. I love that she wanted to use it. Remember those old school sweaters? Cameron on the other hand decided after the Monster Mash to change out of her cheerleader costume and into some old dress-up clothes for trick-or-treating. She called herself a
princess fairy, but really it was an old
Ariel the mermaid costume. She even found a magic wand to use (that's the yellow star you see sticking out of her dress). You know what they say...it's a women's
prerogative to change her mind.

Every year we take a picture with the neighbors, Megan and Steve.
Even Brooklyn dressed up in a Halloween scarf. She enjoyed walking with us up and down the streets and scored some dog treats along the way! She's a good pup.
We cut the trick or treating short this year because we wanted to go to Wicker Park for the
political rally. Before we left we got to see Adam and Simon and visit some houses with them.

Hi Lauren,
Simon and Adam would like a copy of that last picture, if you don't mind. Thanks, Linnay
